Who will be my Photographer?

All sessions will be personally photographed ME, Tammie Peterson and individually retouched and edited to create your signature print.




What type of photo session can this be used for?

Pretty much any type of portrait session for personal use. Personal use means you want to display the photos to enjoy the memories. Commercial use means that you want to use the photos to advertise your business or product. Except for Head Shots, commercial use is not allowed. You cannot combine different types of portrait sessions.




How long is my photo session?

The Photo Shoot sessions (in studio or out) are 2 Hour long at one location.  As you go through my website, you’ll notice that I incorporate a lot of natural expressions and poses. My goal is to capture your personality as well as what you look like. The more time I have to spend with you, the better results.




How many photos will you take?

I take as many images as needed capture your personality and business image during the allotted scheduled time, so it can really vary based on the type of portrait session. You can expect on average a minimum of 80-150 final images from your session or more images if you choose to increase your session time.




Can we go to multiple locations?

Yes, if time and your budget allows.... Depending on the distance between locations, you'll need at least (2) hours total session time.




Can I change outfits?

Yes if time allows.... You'll need at least an (2) hour total session time if you want to change outfits. Keep in mind that you'll need to get to a bathroom or private location to change unless the session takes place at my studio location or your home.




Where will my photo session take place? What locations are available?

Outdoor Portrait Sessions can take place at these popular locations:

Agnes Scott College
Downtown Decatur
Roswell Square
Stone Mountain
Piedmont Park
Centennial Park
Marietta Square

Stone Mountain Park



Sessions can also take place at your preferred location or Home provided it's within 20 miles of 30340 (285-Perimeter area). Locations in the metro Atlanta area but more than 20 miles will incur a flat $20 travel fee. Locations outside of metro Atlanta will be quoted based on distance.



Can we add more time to the session?

Yes, subject to my availability. 




What should I bring with me to the shoot?

Bring as much as you can handle, and depending on the type of photo shoot.  




Do you photograph pets?

Pets are limited to dogs, cats and easy to work it type of animals only and can be included in your portraits and be photographed alone, if well behaved. If you'd like to include your pet it's a good idea to bring along a second person to act as a pet assistant for images they are not included in.




How many people can I include in my photo session?

Images will include all of the members of your group up 6 people or pets. Headshots and Senior portraits include only two people such as a parent. Couples include two, and families can include up to 6 people. I can include individual images & different combinations of your group as time allows. 





How far in advance do I need to book my Photo Session or Event?

I preferred to scheduled no more than 1-2 weeks in advance. Once the calendar opens up be sure to book your date early to get the date you want. I charge a $50-$100 Reservation Deposit for Events to hold your Event DATE and it is applied towards your Photography cost. Should you cancel, I keep the deposit, as compensation of holding that date and turning down other potential clients.




What if I need to reschedule?

It's not a problem to reschedule as long as you give me at least 24-48 hours notice. Let me know as soon as possible and we'll select a New date. 

Can I buy a CD of files?

All photo sessions and events are emailed to the Clients with a link to a personal Online Gallery that is active for 30 days to View, Share and Download to your computer or I can offer and provide ALL images on a CD for an additional charge of $25 to cover packaging and shipping to you.



When will my images be ready? How do I order?

All Photos will be ready within a week.



How do family and friends order?

Within in (7) days following your ordering session, any images that you have purchased will be available in a private online gallery for 30 days for family and friends to view place their orders directly with me.




When will my order be ready? How are they delivered?

Orders are typically ready 3 days-1 week of your photo session or event. I'll let you know when your order is ready through an email or text message.


Please allow additional time for orders placed during the Christmas Holiday season.



How may I use my images?

Images by Capturing The Moments Photography-TS retains ownership and copyright of all images, however clients will be granted the right to personal, non commercial use of the images and files that they purchase. Images may not be copied, sold, or published by the client without written agreement by Tammie Peterson. Head Shot clients are granted commercial use of their Head Shot image for use in their own promotion only.
